Ground pounder, often used as slang for reference to someone in the infantry, is one of the more accurate descriptions of the American war fighter who spends most of his time doing what riflemen do best: walking. The U.S. Army 11B and the U.S. Marine Corps 0311 spend much of their time walking while deployed, carrying simple, yet highly effective weapons such as the M4 carbine, M9 pistol, M249 SAW, and M203 grenade launcher, all of which are included in the Ground Pounder Experience.
